The process
How to Return or Exchange
Whether you’re swapping sizes, returning for a refund, or reporting a fault — it all starts the same way.
Email customerservice@modbands.com.au with your order number and reason for return. If your item arrived faulty or damaged, include a clear photo.
We’ll reply within 1 business day with your return number and all the details you need to send your item back.
Pack your item securely and post it to the address we provide, including your return number. (See below for who covers shipping costs.)
Once we receive your return, we’ll process your refund, store credit, or exchange within 1–2 business days. Refunds appear on your original payment method within 3–5 business days after processing.

Gift Returns
Received a Modbands band as a gift? We’re happy to help with an exchange or store credit. Just email us with the order number (ask the gift-giver if you don’t have it) and we’ll sort it out.
New Zealand & USA
International Orders
Our 60-day return policy applies to all international orders. A few things to note:
- → Return shipping from outside Australia is at the customer’s expense for change of mind returns.
- → We cover return shipping for faulty or incorrect items.
- → Refunds are issued in the original currency at the original exchange rate.

Delivery Issues
Please read the following carefully — these situations fall outside our standard return policy.
If your order is returned to us because the address was entered incorrectly, a refund will be issued minus a $15 fee to cover Australia Post’s return-to-sender and original postage charges. If the parcel is delivered to the wrong address, we are unable to provide a refund — please double-check your address at checkout.
If your order isn’t collected from the post office within the timeframe shown on the collection notice and is returned to us, a refund will be issued minus a $15 fee to cover the return-to-sender and original postage charges.
If you need to redirect your delivery after dispatch, we can request a mail redirection with Australia Post for a $10 fee.

Damage not related to a manufacturing defect:
- Wear & tear Normal deterioration over time
- Accidental damage Scratches, drops, impacts
- Improper use Damage from incorrect care or use
- Lost or stolen Missing items

How to Make a Claim
Simple and quick — here’s all you need to do.
Send a short description of the issue to customerservice@modbands.com.au with your order number. No order number? No worries — just let us know.
Include a clear photo or short video showing the defect. This helps us assess your claim quickly.
We’ll get back to you within 1 business day. If we need the item returned, we’ll provide a prepaid return label.
Once assessed, we’ll offer a replacement, store credit, or full refund — your choice.

I've never been to Portofino but it's on the list. For the time being my watch band is the closest I'll come. This is another excellent band from Mod Bands and I am well pleased with the fit and quality. Great band and even better company to deal with! I received my initial band which I loved but unfortunately broke after a couple of days of receiving. I notified Mod Bands of what happened and sent them a picture of my broken buckle. Without question, the team sent me a brand new band. I have been using it ever since and could not be happier. Bought this for my partner's birthday and looks really good. The only minor issue I had is that the measurements on the site said the band should fit well but the band only just fits his wrist. Otherwise it’s a very nice band!
I really like this band, however I am quite petite and found the buckle sits out awkwardly on the skin if you need to use the first three holes. If you’ve only got a small wrist, I’d recommend the normal buckle instead

Hello do you have this band in brown with white stitching?
We don't carry it in stock, however can get it in as a special order. The current timeframe for this is around 4 weeks due to COVID impacting our imports. If this is something you are interested in please drop an email to customerservice@modbands.com.au
How do you choose the black portofino band (deployment buckle) in white stitching? There’s no choice in the drop down menu, just black or white.
Hi Mariah, we stopped selling that one as it was a very slow seller. However we can get it in as a special order if needed (it wouldn’t see about a week to arrive). If this is ok just order the black stitched variant, and then drop an email to customerservice@modbands.com.au with the order number and the request for white stitching.
do you have an adapter for this band that matches the color of space black stainless steel watch?
We can absolutely change the adapter over to space black (note that the buckle will still be silver). Just drop us an email after placing an order to request this.
